Chicken & Blues and Deliveroo have announced an expansion of their partnership and the signing of a multi-year exclusive collaboration to 2023. The national award-winning BBQ Chicken concept has worked with Deliveroo across Bournemouth and Poole since its launch in the area in 2015, now delivering to upwards of 5,000 customers per week from two locations in the region.
As part of the new partnership agreement, Chicken & Blues is also adopting Deliveroo’s successful new ‘Signature’ service to enable customers to order delivery directly via the Chicken & Blues website and social channels. The service is designed to help C&B engage directly with their most loyal and valued customers while utilising Deliveroo’s industry-leading logistics and a full suite of services.
Joshua Simons, co-founder, C&B said: “We’re delighted to strengthen our partnership with Deliveroo with the signing of this multi-year deal. Over the last year in particular, thousands of new customers have enjoyed Mama’s Home Cookin’ delivered to their door thanks to Deliveroo’s expertise and logistical know-how. We are now working closely with Deliveroo’s operations team as we look to take C&B to neighbouring towns and cities”.
Harrison Foster, UK and Ireland growth director for Deliveroo said, “Chicken & Blues is a restaurant that we have championed since they first came on board in 2015, and we’re delighted to have them as a partner for years to come. They’ve set a high bar for other quick-serve chicken brands in the UK with their innovation, customer engagement and their initiatives to support their local community. We are excited to see this partnership reach new heights as we continue to bring Chicken & Blues to our customers in Bournemouth and Poole.”
