New Forest Ice Cream offers complete Veganuary experience with three delicious flavours

New Forest Ice Cream is gearing up to offer customers the complete Veganuary ice cream experience with three tempting flavours, the classic ‘Vanilla Pod’, a sophisticated ‘Salted Caramel’ and a rich ‘Chocolate’. Three of the top-selling flavours from the company’s dairy range, the vegan flavours are sure to be a big hit with those looking for a plant-based alternative to New Forest’s renowned family recipe.

The UK-based Veganuary campaign has been boosted by a surge in people buying plant-based food during the pandemic and recently welcomed its 1 millionth participant. As such, come January, customers will be expecting delicious plant-based options on menus when dining out, more than ever before.

New Forest Ice Cream has developed the range to ensure that customers with a variety of dietary requirements, as well as those making lifestyle choices or interested in trying something new, can now enjoy the delicious taste of New Forest Ice Cream. Whether served alone or with a range of desserts, New Forest’s vegan range is the perfect refreshing treat to end any meal for Veganuary and beyond.

The dairy free recipes include the finest ingredients and deliver the same silky-smooth texture that New Forest Ice Cream is celebrated for. The Vanilla Pod ice cream is made with real Madagascan vanilla pod seeds, whilst the smooth Salted Caramel flavour has a rich caramel taste with a hint of salt for a perfectly balanced, sweet, yet salty combination. The Chocolate ice cream is made with cocoa and packs a real chocolate punch with its rich flavour.

The latest additions in the range are gluten-free and produced in New Forest Ice Cream’s nut-free production facility. Every batch produced is tested to ensure it is free from dairy & eggs guaranteeing suitability for vegans.

Christina Veal, Director at New Forest Ice Cream is delighted to offer customers even more choice when it comes to serving vegan options on menus: “It’s really exciting to see the Veganuary movement continue to grow with so many people getting involved year on year. We are delighted to support our foodservice customers and to give them plenty of choice when it comes to serving vegan ice cream on menus.”

“The recipes have been carefully developed so the flavour, texture and ingredients are spot on! We already know how popular these three flavours are in our dairy range and we are confident that they really shine through with these new recipes too! They really are delicious and even the biggest traditional ice cream fans will love these vegan-friendly options.”

All three flavours are available in 2.4ltr catering tubs. New Forest Ice Cream has an ever-expanding collection of over 50 flavours, including the real dairy and continental ranges. Alongside this, a large assortment of sorbets and a range of wrapped Ice Cream and Ice Lollies are also available to give caterers everything they need create the perfect dessert offering.
