Located inside a 1920’s building on Fore Street, at the heart of the beautiful city of Exeter, you will find The Bootlegger, the latest Prohibition speakeasy-inspired bar.
Ran by two brothers Gary and Lee Miller alongside Shaun Grundy, The Bootleggers Exeter venue is the latest to open, with two already establish in Cardiff and Bristol.
Harking back to the underground glamour of the 1920s, this hideaway is the place for a raucous good night. The venue’s striking decor is an industrial mix of exposed bricks with beautiful artwork, Edison light bulbs and cosy corners, which create an utterly unique experience.
The cocktail menu has been specially designed to complement the character of the bar. The servers are well versed in the art of fabulous cocktails, and can serve you any of their 80 concoctions, varying from century-old favourites to tasty modern twists.
The Bootlegger will also be serving authentic Italian platters inspired by the Prohibition Era Mobsters style, substance and taste. They’ve been working with the finest suppliers to bring you a taste of Sicily and the range of mouth-watering treats means there’s something new and exciting for everyone to try.
Local artists and DJ’s will perform live music ranging from the 1930’s blues, swing, jazz to 1950’s rock & roll and the swinging 60’s from the stage area in the ‘Moonshine Bar’.
The Bootlegger is the perfect venue for a swell evening – serving tasty tipples while delighting your taste buds at the same time.
