Lye Cross Farm Shop

Located in Somerset, Lye Cross Farm have over 50 years of cheese making experience and continue to use traditional cheese-making skills to create their fantastic and award-winning cheeses.

Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Lye Cross Farm has 4,300 acres of the very best pasture land in the world, which is home to a herd of 1,200 dairy cattle. Lye Cross Farm are the UK’s only cheese-maker of 100% certified grass-fed Cheddar and offer a fantastic range of handmade cheeses, both conventional and organic and the entire production & packaging process takes place here, ensuring maximum quality control as well as a minimum carbon footprint.

The Farm Shop is open 7 days a week and filled with local produce and boasts an excellent butchery. The beef here is reared on the family farm and is sold alongside locally sourced lamb, pork and poultry.

You’ll also find a great range of fresh fruit & vegetables, local ciders, beers and wines, not forgetting the deli & fresh bread counter and fresh fish is available every Thursday.
