Thornes Farm Shop is situated in the heart of Devon on the outskirts of Crediton and is well known for their P.Y.O. soft fruits of strawberries & raspberries. The Thorne family can trace its farming ancestry in Devon back hundreds of years. Thornes Farm has been owned by Anthony Thorne since 1986. His main concern has always been how to get the most out of the red soil of Devon, while enjoying the fabulous scenery in which he lives and works.
Being a traditional working farm, Thornes supply the South West with homegrown veg of cauliflowers, different varieties of cabbages, beetroot, kale, potatoes, squashes and pumpkins.
Not only is Thornes Farm Shop filled with a wonderful range of products such as locally grown fruits and vegetables, but also on offer is a selection of delightful, locally made crafts, locally produced alcohol and a good selection of gluten free and vegan friendly produce.
You’ll find a superb range of fresh meats on the butchery counter, freshly baked breads and handmade cakes at the bakery & an excellent choice of cheeses and snacks within the deli.
Thornes’ family events are becoming increasingly popular with themes such as curry & comedy nights and their fabulous new restaurant cooks fresh to order, using locally sourced ingredients, with the most popular dish being served…the full English breakfast.
